ACADEMY PROGRAM - OMAHA & LINCOLN
BOYS & GIRLS U8 - U12
The Youth Academy is the beginning of the Player Pathway into our Local, Regional and National Competitive Programs. We offer programs in both Omaha and Lincoln. The program places emphasis on 3 areas of Individual Player Development: Soccer Development, Athletic Development, Personal Development. The program focuses on developing the individual player’s technical abilities, providing opportunities to play various positions in matches and the freedom to make their own decisions and learn from their own experiences.


PLAYER TRAINING CAMP
Sporting Academy International is our newest player camp designed specifically for current SNFC Academy players. We will introduce concepts and styles of play unique to specific countries around the world...Argentina, Germany, England, Brazil, Italy and Mexico. The curriculum will include advanced topics such as combination play, organizational defending, crossing and finishing, counter attacking, individual defending and individual attacking.
Who can attend
SAI is offered to Sporting Nebraska FC current Academy players. Registration will be through Playmetrics. This camp will be in place of TPD.

- U8-10 GIRLS & BOYS 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Camp 2: (Tuesdays) Feb. 3, 10, 17
- 5:30-6:30 Boys & Girls U11/U12
- 6:45-7:45 Boys & Girls U8-U10
Cost: $75 per camp. Registration will be sent to current Academy players.

Omaha Boys & Girls U11 - U12
Sporting Development League (SDL) is an independent youth soccer league featuring Academy Affiliate clubs from across the region. Player and coach development is provided in cooperation with the SKC Academy. The league consists of our first teams in the U11 & U12 Boys and U12 Girls. These teams from each club will play a minimum eight-game season with a flexible schedule that offers freedom to participate in additional leagues and tournaments throughout the season.
League Objective
SDL provides a competitive and more importantly, a developmental opportunity for players and coaches from each of the selected Affiliate clubs.
League Philosophy
SDL is an opportunity for the selected Academy Affiliate players and coaches to engage with Sporting KC Youth Soccer, Sporting KC Academy and continue their development.
Through this league, we strive to create safe and healthy competitive environments where players and coaches can solely focus on their development.

Past President of Nebraska State Soccer Association Board of Directors. Committee Member experience at the U.S. Youth Soccer Association Regional (Finance) and National (Nomination/Governance/Bylaw) level. More than thirty years of experience as a player, coach and administrator supplemented by a background in business, law and education. United States Soccer Federation Coaching License and a United Soccer Coaches (NSCAA) Director of Coaching Diploma. Division I college soccer playing experience. State Cup Champion as a club player, club coach, high school player and high school coach. Administrative experience at the local, State and Regional level managing budgets, ODP, facility development, travel and event management.
